CS Sports Therapy was created as a mobile clinic in the spring of 2013; covering the regions of Somerset (Bridgwater, Taunton & Yeovil). I Caroline Storey am a registered Sports Therapist with a BSc (Hons) in Sports & Exercise Science, PGC (Postgraduate Certificate) in Sports Therapy, ITEC Level 4 Sports Massage, Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner (CKTP) specialising in paediatrics and sports injuries and also a qualified Hot & Cold Stones Massage Therapist. My clientele includes: sports participants, emergency services, suffers of chronic illness or disability, and general health ailments.
My passion for sports started from a young age when I played competitive sports at school, this desire has now grown into the club & semi professional environment. My own experience with injuries has facilitated my inquisitive nature to question how they occur; the effect they have on the rest of the body structure; and the importance of having a suitable rehabilitation programme. I am a keen runner and have completed several marathons, I also have experience in the fields of hockey, triathlon and football.
As a therapist, my aim is to help clients deal with their pain and injuries, by identifying and understanding the triggers and biomechanics faults that cause the problem. Then setting up a suitable programme of treatment to achieve their desired goals.
My purpose is to deliver a one to one professional environment where clients feel comfortable and relaxed; therefore being a mobile clinic can be very beneficial for less mobile or extremely busy clients.
To maintain the high standard of Sports & Holistic therapists I am registered with the following associations:
The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)
The Association for Soft Tissue Therapists (SMA)
The Sports Therapy Association (STA)
Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)
Kinesio UK Practioners
